No.
- Can I use hand lotion over (or under) Bio-Safe™?
You can use hand lotion over but not under Bio-Safe™, but it isn't necessary. The lotion nourishes the skin. The polymer coating helps the skin retain the natural oils thus softening the skin tissue. It is important that you NOT apply hand lotion before applying the lotion. That may very well interfere with Bio-Safe™ bonding to the out epithelial layer of skin.
- Why is this better than other products such as Keri Lotion, DermaShield, etc.?
Bio-Safe™'s combination of a long-lasting, skin protectant with sustained gram negative and gram positive antibacterial action puts this product in a class apart from others (Patent No. 5,922,313). Some products protect the skin for a period of time. Others kill germs. We know of no product with Bio-Safe™'s unique combination of benefits.
- What does "electrochemically bond" mean?
Certain ingredients in the lotion chemically adhere to the outer layer of dead, flaking skin cells. The electrical charge of the lotion and that of the human body are opposite thus creating a "charge attraction" from one to the other.

Bio-Safe™ Antibacterial Skin Protectant provides a secondary layer of protection under gloves. If one were to have a cut or scrape on their hand at the same place where there is a defect in the glove. Bio-Safe™'s polymer coating on the skin would provide a layer of protection under the glove.
