A study was conducted in two 34-bed medical units at a Canadian community acute care hospital. Those patients hospitalized in the "control" unit were 9.3 times more likely to develop nosocomial MRSA. The results of this study suggest Bio-Safe™ Skin Protectant "may have a significant impact on nosocomial MRSA.
