VA Medical Center Installs Bio-Safe™ Skin Product Throughout Hospital
After installing Bio-Safe™ Skin Protectant in several departments over a year, the VA Medical Center in Ashville NC has completed installation throughout the hospital.

Infection Control Double-blind Study shows "Superior Performance" of Bio-Safe™ Skin Protectant
This study was conducted in two 34-bed medical units at a Canadian community acute care hospital. The purpose was to evaluate whether the regular use of Bio-Safe™ Skin Protectant resulted in reduction in nosocomial MRSA transmission. Those patients hospitalized in the "control" unit were 9.3 times more likely to develop nosocomial MRSA. The results of this study suggest Bio-Safe™ Skin Protectant "may have a significant impact on nosocomial MRSA."

Firing Range Uses Bio-Safe™ to Help Reduce Risk of Exposures
The State of Connecticut Firing Ranges use Bio-Safe™ Skin Protectant to reduce exposure to gun powder, lead, and gun cleaning chemicals. Fabrice Czarbecki M.D., Medical Advisor for American Society of Law Enforcement Training, believes dermal absorption of lead is a serious risk to law enforcement personnel.

Preventing MRSA Infections
1997: Bio-Safe™ Skin Protectant demonstrated efficacy against a host of bacteria, including MRSA. The Burn Unit at University of California, Fresno, had a horrible MRSA infestation in 1997 and was getting no where with 4% Chlorhexidine scrubs. They added application of Bio-Safe™ Skin Protectant following the scrubs, using the recommended product use protocol, and their MRSA problem was eliminated quickly. When they ran out of Bio-Safe™ skin product, they failed to reorder and MRSA CAME BACK. Again the Burn Unit implemented Bio-Safe™ Skin Protectant, and again the problem was quickly resolved.
